AAROHAN
Ascend-The Entrepreneurship Cell of Sri Venkateswara College, organised their Bi-Annual Event, AAROHAN on 21st-22nd NOVEMBER, 2023. It was a 2 day event jam packed with competitons along with speaker session and workshops, featuring successful entrepreneurs.
Day 1 started with inauguration by the guest speaker Miss Mamta Raj Nayak, convenor- Mr.Ajit Singh and the President of ASCEND – Tanya Agrawal.
This was followed by an interactive workshop session by Miss Mamta Raj Nayak on AI, where she emphasised on AI as an element of responsibility. This engaging session helped the audience broaden their knowledge on AI and how it can be integrated with businesses, by posing numerous questions, which were patiently answered by the industry expert.
Aarohan consisted of two competitions Strategic Showtime and Game Of Gains.
Strategic Showtime tested the negotiation skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills through bidding and trading rounds, whereas Game Of Gains focused on honing the creative ideation and pitching skills of participants through formulation of sustainable and profitable business plans.
Round 1 of these were held online and the qualifying teams met in the college on 21st for the second round where teams from various colleges competed and, the quick and whip-smart teams moved to the second round of both the competitions that were held on 22nd November.
Day 2 of Aarohan commenced with an informative speaker session by CA Parag Gupta, who is a very well known personality among CA aspirants . This interactive session was filled with insights for students from the professional and personal life experiences of CA Parag Gupta.
Next up was the final round of Strategic Showtime and Game Of Gains for which we welcomed Mr.Harshit Bansal , Mr.Gautam Chabbra and Mr.Aman Alok as hon’ble judges, who enlightened the participants with their industry insights. Both the competitions began with a high spirit of enthusiasm and competitiveness, and concluded with an even higher spirit of celebration among the winners.
Aarohan, an event where the spirit of entrepreneurship is celebrated along with providing the ground for practising the same with necessary guidance was wound up with an aim of delivering more such skyrocketing events by team Ascend to the young and aspiring talent.
