Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday held a review meeting at Nagpur Police Headquarters regarding the recent violence in Nagpur.

Delimitation is a constitutional process. In a democracy, elections are held, and for that purpose, the delimitation exercise is conducted, said the RSS.

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan criticised the BJP-led government for initiating delimitation without consultation, calling it driven by political interests.

Some members also demanded the resignation of the CM, alleging that he insulted the national anthem at an event on Thursday.

Expressing concern over the broader implications, the minister warned that the judgement could set a dangerous precedent and send a wrong message to society. 

Union Minister Amit Shah Criticised DMK for opposing the three-language formula and asserted that some parties are using language issues to hide their corruption. He added that if the NDA is from the government in Tamil Nadu, it will provide medical and engineering courses in Tamil.
