The selection is conducted entirely online through a multi-stage process:

Round 1 (Aptitude Test): A 1-hour MCQ test on logical and analytical reasoning. The top 30% of scorers advance.
Round 2 (Advanced Test): A more difficult 1-hour test. Only the top 50 scorers who meet the 40/50 cutoff qualify for interviews.
Shortlisting Interview: A one-on-one video interview to evaluate thought depth and practicality.
Final Interview: An interview with a panel of international experts (from Microsoft, NASA-affiliated labs, and top universities) to select the winners.

Zero Fees: There is no application or registration fee.
Negative Marking: The online tests include negative marking to ensure precision.
Tie-Breaker Rule: In case of equal scores, the person who completed the test faster is ranked higher. If still tied, the person who registered earlier is preferred.
Transparency: All prize money is disbursed via cheque to ensure security and prevent the need for sharing sensitive banking details online.
