He always believed that debating is the only skill that transcends the dialectics of knowledge. Henceforth, passing on his legacy we are here with a deliberating event for the newcomers of session 2023. Where you can showcase your zeal for debating. Tejas Gurtu Memorial Freshers Debate 2023 Format – Extempore Date – 18th of January, 2023 Day – Wednesday Time – 10.00am onwards Language – English or Hindi (Bilingual) Eligibility – Exclusively Freshers (Societies can register for institutional slot) Participation – Individual Event Limited Slots, Register Now!! Prize pool worth 5k and E- Certificates to all the participants Rules / Guidelines:-

• Inter-college event
• Competition in Single Round
• Confirmation of the slots will be based on the answer that you provide in the registration form.

1. Participants will be given a topic, 5 minutes prior to their speech. They get 5 minutes to prepare and 5 minutes to deliver the speech.

2. Participant is required to maintain the language purity throughout the speech, i.e, either Hindi or English.

3. Use of unparliamentary language will lead to disqualification.
