The 7 Lakes Fest, in collaboration with the Consult Club of IIM Calcutta, presents the Flagship strategy case competition, Veritas. Put yourself in the CEO’s shoes and decide the overall strategy for complex business problems. It’s a multi-stage event that will test your ability to generate valuable insights and develop winning strategies like a consultant.

The first round will be a test of your analytical skills. The second round would require you to provide an innovative solution to a real-world business problem. Top teams will be presenting their solutions to a panel of judges in the grand finale.

Rules:

Preliminary Round 1 – Online Quiz:

• All registered teams will be required to attempt the online quiz round
• Duration: 30 Minutes
• Will be live on 10/11/2023 for a 2-hour window
• Single attempt. Teams can attempt the quiz together
• Quiz results will be declared by 11/11/2023

Round 2 – Case submission:

• Each of the teams shortlisted after Round 1, will be provided with a case problem statement on 11/11/2023
• Submissions should be in the form of PPT not exceeding 3 slides (excluding cover and thank you slides)
• The submission deadline is 15/11/2023 EOD

Round 3 – Case Presentation at IIM C-7 Lakes Fest:

• The top 8 teams selected after round 2 will be released by 17/11/2023
• The final presentation to the jury panel will be held on 19/11/2023

Other Guidelines:

• Open to all undergraduate and post graduate programs.
• Team size: 2 to 3 participants
• Round 1 will be the elimination round
• The top 8 teams will get a chance to present at IIM C 7 Lakes Fest, out of which the top 3 teams will be chosen as winners
• Registration duration: From 6/11/2023 – 9/11/2023

Terms & Conditions:

• All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity, and final judgments will be with the organizing committee of 7 Lakes Fest, Indian Institute of Management Calcutta
• The format and structure of events on campus could be subject to change before the actual beginning of the event
• The decisions of the organizers will be final and binding on all participants
