Noida, November 14, 2024: The Media School of Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME) celebrated its 9th Annual Media Conference and Festival, Vritika 2024, with grandeur. This two-day event focused on discussing the evolving trends in the media industry and their social impact. Esteemed personalities from the media world graced the occasion, sharing enlightening and inspiring insights with students.

Inauguration Ceremony
Vritika 2024 commenced on November 13 at the Nelson Mandela Auditorium, Noida. The inauguration ceremony featured prominent guests, including Mr. Ashok Srivastava (Primetime Anchor, DD News), Mr. Rahul Dabas (Special Correspondent and Anchor, News Nation), Mr. Gagandeep Chauhan (World Punjabi TV), and Ms. Sakshi Lithoria (CNN News).

The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Parul Mehra, Head of DME Media School, who emphasized the significance of Vritika as a platform for students to learn and refine their skills. DME Director General Hon’ble Justice Bhanwar Singh highlighted the core principles of media and journalism, including truth, impartiality, and accuracy.

Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony took place on November 14 at the DME Amphitheatre. Over two days, students enthusiastically participated in various competitions, including journalism, public speaking, and filmmaking. The ceremony’s chief guests, Mr. Akhilesh Anand (News Anchor, ABP News) and RJ Atishay (Radio Jockey, Ishq FM 104.8), inspired students to seize opportunities in the media industry and pursue their dreams.

The cultural highlights of the closing day included a mythological theatrical performance, South Indian dance, and Rajasthani folk dance, adding vibrancy to the event. The grand finale featured a stellar performance by singer Nitin Sharma’s band, leaving the audience spellbound.
