Magnum Opus presents Vizhi, a premier national photography contest dedicated to discovering the Top 100 Frames of India. This event provides an elevated platform for photographers across the country to showcase their artistic vision in a grand physical exhibition held in Chennai.

• Cash Prize Pool: ₹12,000 (₹2,000 awarded to the best photographer in each of the six categories)

The Themes

1. Street Photography: Capture the diversity, life, and everyday stories unfolding across the streets and people of your city.

2. Festivals and Faith: Showcase the vibrant celebrations, rituals, and beliefs that reflect regional spiritual and cultural traditions.

3. Beauty of Black and White: Express emotion and storytelling through the timeless power of monochrome photography.

4. Heritage Architecture: Highlight architectural marvels and cultural legacies that preserve the history and identity of our past.

5. The Indian Transit: Capture the raw rhythm of a nation on the move, from bustling railway platforms to the quiet stories behind a window seat.

6. Shadows and Silhouettes: Create art using light and shadow, focusing on dark outlines and high-contrast moments.

Submission Process Upon completing the registration, applicants will receive a dedicated submission link via WhatsApp or Email within 1 to 2 business days to upload their entries.

Judging Panel Entries will be evaluated by Sankrushi, Founder of Kaaviyam, and Vetri, a dedicated photographer and cinematographer.

This is an opportunity to transition your digital portfolio onto a physical gallery stage and gain national recognition for your craft.
