The MIT India Hackathon 2026 is a national-level, two-stage hackathon conducted as part of the Industry Institute Reconnect Summit (IRS) 2026 in Pune and the Industry Institute Engagement Summit (IES) 2026 in New Delhi. Open to students from Engineering, Management, Science, and Design disciplines, the competition challenges teams to solve real-world industry-defined problems across sectors such as Defence, Healthcare, Government, Social Impact, and Technical & Industrial. The top teams from the Pune qualifier advance to the Delhi Grand Finale after refining their solutions over two months. Participants compete for cash prizes worth ₹25 lakh+, AWS Certification Vouchers, cloud credits, mentorship, investor exposure, and national recognition.
