Overview
Chrizmatic Events invites college students, working professionals, and individuals of all ages to participate in a short film-making competition that showcases creativity while adhering to respectful content guidelines.
Venue
- NCPA (National Centre for the Performing Arts)
- St. Andrews Auditorium
- National College Auditorium
(Final venue based on availability)
Prizes
- Winning Film: ₹50,000
- Runner-Up Film: ₹25,000
Registration
- Fee: ₹1,000 per film
- Early Bird Special: ₹800 per film if registered before November 10, 2024
- Limited Registrations Available
Rules and Guidelines
- No offensive language, vulgarity, or content that hurts religious sentiments.
- Open to all genres (drama, comedy, thriller, etc.).
- Films must not exceed 20 minutes in length.
- Original content only; no copyright infringement
Important Dates
- Registration Deadline: 23rd November
- Audition Dates: 30th November & 1st December
- Finals: 8th December
Submission Requirements
- Provide a brief synopsis of your film upon submission.
- Films must be submitted via Google Drive link in the registration form.
- Submit short films by the registration deadline.
- Selected films will be evaluated by a panel of judges.
- Finalist films will be showcased in front of a live audience.
Judging Criteria
- Storytelling: Clarity, originality, and emotional impact.
- Cinematography: Visual composition and quality of camera work.
- Direction: Effectiveness in conveying the story.
- Editing: Pacing and continuity.
- Performance: Acting quality and character embodiment.
- Sound Design: Use of music and dialogue clarity.
- Production Quality: Overall professionalism, including set design.
- Theme and Message: Depth and relevance of explored themes.
- Innovation and Creativity: Originality in concept and execution.
