🎯 The Challenge
NSDL Payments Bank needed to break into the college market — a demographic that already had UPI and big-bank apps on their phones and very little reason to switch. The ask was not just awareness; it was action. Real account openings. Real engagement. The challenge was designing a campaign that could work at scale across two cities, across colleges as different as a Mumbai arts college and a Delhi engineering fest, while maintaining consistent brand presence and measurable outcomes at every single touchpoint.
🚀 Our Playbook
We built BankingWise as a dual-format campaign — running simultaneously as an on-ground fest activation and an educational workshop series, so NSDL PB had presence across every type of college event.
At fest activations, we set up branded NSDL Payments Bank zones with crowd-pulling games, interactive challenges, and instant cash rewards credited directly into participants' NSDL Jiffy accounts — giving students their first live experience of the product in real time. Standees, posters, and branded collateral ensured the bank's identity was visible throughout every venue.
At workshops, we ran structured sessions on banking awareness and fraud prevention — topics students genuinely care about — and closed each session with a live quiz where winners walked away with cash prizes, trophies, and certificates. This gave students a reason to sit through the session, engage with the brand, and open an account before they left the room.
We activated this across 30+ colleges including Chetana College, SNDT College, SIES College Sion, HR College, Thakur College, Sathaye College, Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (Delhi), and Delhi Technological University — consistently delivering branded presence, student engagement, and verified account openings at every location.
